Housing

The block on the corner of Frits Ruysstraat and the two long ones on Gerdesiaweg comprise a total of 116 porch-access flats, with a communal garden at the rear. The small block on Frits Ruysstraat has ground-floor shops and a pitched roof. There is a café with lean-to roof on the corner. The long blocks have bay windows with full-height glazing in squares and a set-back rooftop level with a continuous balcony. The housing has been renovated, during which operation the outer walls were plastered and its wooden window frames replaced by PVC.
