There are 24 apartments in the complex, accessed by three entrances decorated with bronze doors with narrow stained glass windows, and a lobby containing marble figures of animals. The dwellings were designed as service flats with the appropriate facilities including a house cleaning service, a safe, guest rooms, delivery hatches, shoe cleaning and a meals service (every apartment has a dumbwaiter). Residential 'hotels' like this were prevalent in The Hague, and Lourijsen can indeed be assigned to the 'New Hague School' of architects.
