RELATED BUILDINGS: Housing on Waterworks Site
This apartment building screens a new residential development on the former
waterworks site both visually and acoustically from a main road. All dwellings face south; those on the ground floor are entered at street level. Above them, two double-height access galleries each serve three levels, an arrangement expressed in the north elevation. Vertical circulation is by way of two staircases in the head and tail ends of the 200 metre long block and two lifts at kinks in the frontage where the main entrances are also situated.
