Hogging virtually the entire island, this complex brings together a quartet of I-shaped blocks on a basement containing a parking garage and storage space. Between the housing blocks are three raised internal courtyards that give onto the lower housing and terraces. All other units in the intermediate volumes are reached by stairtowers and lift in the heads and external galleries. The elevation along the quay has been almost completely closed off by widening the heads of the housing blocks. Slotted into the initial levels of the southeast block is a police station. The complex exhibits the rounded forms and materials (rendering, glass block) characteristic of Theo Bosch.
