Here is an example of a Delft School architect using modern industrial housing techniques, in this case the Airey system. Straddling the water, the tall block includes an undercroft of storage areas, one access gallery serving smaller units and three serving maisonettes. The fact that galleries alternately access a lower and an upper maisonette gives the facade its clearly structured look.
