Contextually this scheme is based on square clusters, each open at one corner, of 20 to 25 dwellings round a green or paved inner court. Four of these clusters in turn form a square creating a further link-up on a larger scale. Dwellings are fitted with standard core elements and standard kitchens and bathrooms. Varying the position of these has produced a total of 26 different types of unit, including a number of split-level dwellings.
