BUILDING TYPE:
Office buildings

Although known locally as the Hulstkampgebouw after the Hulstkamp distillery established there between 1919 and 1972, this building originally housed the margarine and cheese factory and offices of J. Laming & Sons. It was designed for this firm in a richly ornate neo-Renaissance style by J.P. Stok, a Rotterdam architect responsible for many offices and commercial buildings. Its interior has a central glass-roofed main space. These days the building is used for private parties.
