Brinkman & Van der Vlugt
Leen van der Vlugt
Van der Vlugt had this summer residence built for himself, but died shortly after its completion. An airy, elongated structure, it combines a living room overlooking the sea, a glazed entrance with open kitchen and a wing of bedrooms, the whole under wood roofs that gently curve. The house has everything of a stranded vessel on the crest of a dune. The garage inserted naturally beneath it was sealed off during a recent extention.
