In this insurance company headquarters four trapezium-shaped office wings are arranged windmill-fashion around a square core. The wings, which are 12.6 metres wide, are spanned in one piece by standard channel sections resting on loadbearing facade elements. The skin is entirely of 6 millimetre hardened glass panels of 1.8 x 3.6 metres, with luted joins and a reflecting layer, making this an extremely smooth, energy-efficient building. The core is fitted out with glazed lifts, bridges, mirrored walls and stainless-steel floors.
