BUILDING TYPE:
Housing

On the corner (splayed as prescribed by the urban design scheme) of this housing block are two double-height 'atelier' apartments, a curved glass wall on the north-east face giving them optimal lighting. A plinth, also prescribed, projecting from the white stucco facades curves at the portals to emphasise access to inner courts whose faces have a warm, terracotta tint. Beyond the rounded bulges above the portals is a gallery providing access to units housing one to two persons on the fifth level.
