This district of avenue, quay and park dwellings is laid out as a large urban block with taller development along its perimeter and a more intimate ambience on the inner side. The two short sides of the block are robust entities with the steel balconies and verandas typical of KCAP, who also designed the
primary school on site. The development on the long sides is by DKV (who also coordinated the choice of materials and colours) and Karelse Van der Meer. Short side-streets access the green public garden at the centre of the complex. Flanking this central park are six urban villas with four units apiece designed by Molenaar & Van Winden.
